Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Monday Knights Hockey handles personal information through our recreational hockey group, organizer automation, and player and administrator systems. This public website provides information and contact details; it does not provide player sign-in or display private player records.

Information we collect

Depending on your participation and communications with us, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, mobile number, and birth year.
• Your hockey position and participation preferences.
• Membership, roster, Sub List, attendance, and RSVP information.
• Payment and accounting information related to hockey participation, such as amounts due and payments recorded.
• Messages and other information you send to the organizer.

How we use information

We use this information to manage membership, schedule hockey, maintain rosters and Sub Lists, communicate with players, process applications and RSVPs, track attendance and hockey payments, and operate the Monday Knights player and administrator systems.

Google account and Gmail access

When an authorized organizer connects a Google account, organizer automation may access account information and relevant Gmail messages, sender details, message content, and metadata, and send or manage hockey-related communications as permitted by the granted access. This access is used only to operate the hockey organizer, including communications, roster and application processing, RSVP workflows, and related administration.

Visiting this public website does not grant us access to your Google account or inbox. Google access requires a separate authorization. An account holder can review or revoke access through Google Account connections; revoking access may prevent the connected organizer features from working.

Monday Knights Hockey’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and sharing

Organizer records and communications may be stored in Google services used to run the group, including Gmail and Google Sheets. Information may be accessed by authorized organizers and service providers as needed for the hockey operations described above. Hosting and service providers may process data in other jurisdictions.

We do not sell player information to advertisers or use Google user data for advertising. Google user data is used and shared only as permitted by the Limited Use requirements. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or as necessary to address security or abuse.

Retention and your choices

We retain information as needed to administer hockey participation, maintain relevant accounting records, resolve issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion date.

You can contact us to ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or discuss withdrawing from organizer communications. Some records may need to be retained for accounting, legal, or unresolved administrative matters. Removing information needed to organize participation may affect our ability to include you in hockey activities.

Public website and security

This website has no player registration form, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts added by Monday Knights Hockey. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to provide and protect the service.

We aim to limit access to player information to those who need it for the purposes described here. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide any additional notice or consent request required before using Google user data for a new purpose.
